As long as you don't take these items in a carry-on, you shouldn't have any problems at all. You can put all kinds of things in checked luggage. However, with the extra charges that airlines are now imposing on checked luggage, more and more people try to carry all their luggage on board and I don't blame them.

Basically, you just need to be selective about which items you bring. Leather is not a problem, nor should glass sex toys be a problem. It is the metal objects you will have to contend with. Just make sure none of them resemble an actual weapon that will be confiscated. For the most part, I think you should be ok.

However, if you are worried about anything in particular, then you might want to prepare for it's confiscation by bringing a self-addressed pre-paid mailing envelope that you can put your items in and mail them to yourself if security wants to take them. You will have to leave the security area to do this, which probably means standing in line again. Or you can ask if they will just mail it back to you.
