Here are some basic instructions for creating a "Smokey Eye" effect with your makeup. It's a sultry look just right for a woman in control.

Basically you need the following:

• black eyeliner - or a black cream base color
• black eyeshadow - yes, black! and make sure it's matte, not shiny or shimmery
• gray highlight eyeshadow
• good makeup brushes - not those tiny sponge tip applicators!
