Well, have no fear my dears, for I have some tips to get you fired up about flogging! Blaze helped me write up this scene for you first-time floggers, who need some experience at giving a licking while keeping him ticking!

This scene should help you get over your fear of hurting him (SO over it), AND give you the confidence needed to really wail on his ass.

As always: Play safe. Domination is a consensual exchange of trust. If you don’t have a “safe-word” then establish one immediately. Make sure that the only thing your subject has to worry about is what you are going to do to him if he disobeys.

Your first flogging session should probably be more about your own amusement, rather than specifically a means of punishing him (which can come later).

PROLOGUE
This is an easy scene to prepare. Here's what I suggest:

Music: Something dark and sultry. I suggest Massive Attack as recommended by slave j.

Restraints:
There shouldn't be any necessary, as he will have his hands against the wall for much of this scene. The flogger alone, should be motivating enough to keep himself under control.

Attire:
You will need something not too restrictive since you will be very active during this scene, and possibly even work up a sweat! (He will too, no doubt). He will need to start the scene in jeans with no shirt. Choose something sassy for him to wear under his jeans, something like a thong, or your prettiest satin panties.

Accessories:
My favorite whipping toy, of course: A sweet leather flogger! I love this thing!

Begin with him in the right position. I prefer him spread eagle leaning with his hands against the wall, still fully clothed to start. Show it to him. Show it to him again. Tease him with it by running it over his body. Tickle him with it. Tease his cock a little with it. Fluff his hair with it. Tell him to remove his shirt, arch his back and stick out his ass. Tap it very very lightly against his buttocks. Ask him the safety word, "What's the safety word?" and make him repeat it until you are satisfied. If he misbehaves, spank him with your bare hand until he's ready to cooperate, or tell him that you will deny him everything and make him stand silently there until he's ready.
